Teresa Herrlinger, P.T., D.P.T. received a physical education teaching degree from the National Institute of Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1980. She recently completed her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston. She lectured as an assistant professor at University of Buenos Aires School of Kinesiology prior coming to the United States. Since earning her physical therapy degree, she has completed many courses in the assessment of the musculoskeletal system and manual techniques. Her initial training was in the Cyriax orthopedic approach and she later completed training in muscle energy, myofascial release and joint and spinal mobilization. |

Emily Martin D.P.T., CKTPEmily Martin D.P.T., CKTP received her doctorate in physical therapy from University of Michigan-Flint. As part of her continuing education she became a certified kinesio taping practitioner. She is highly energetic and motivated to help her patients in any way possible to reach their maximum potential. Emily has a passion for working with children and teens but enjoys patients of all ages and lifestyles. She uses a variety of techniques to personalize treatment options for her patients including myofacial release, mobilizations, muscle energy, and neuromuscular re-education. | ||
![]() Kristen AtwellKristen Atwell earned her Associates of Applied Science from Henry Ford Community College in the spring of 2010 and graduated with a certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been working in the physical therapy field for three years – two years as a technician and one as a PTA. Kristen enjoys working with orthopedic and sport injury patients. She is motivated to keep learning and expanding her skills and knowledge to further her abilities. |

Karen Lewit, OTR, CHTKaren is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University s Occupational Therapy Program and is a certified Hand Therapist. She has over 20 years experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, working directly with patients and hand surgeons in post-operative care. She has in depth knowledge and experience with splinting, wound care, post-op protocols relating to upper extremity injuries and surgeries, RSI, arthritis, and orthopedic disorders. She uses a variety of treatment techniques including joint mobilizations, MFR, kinesio taping and other manual therapies. She attends numerous continuing education conferences to remain current on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation techniques. She is currently available to provide upper extremity rehabilitation services at the Dexter and Ann Arbor Locations. |
